Community Health Clinic 2009/2010 Seasonal Flu Vaccines are in - Current patients may stop in during clinic hours to receive their shot.
Many of the patients who need our services suffer from longstanding chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, lung disorders, etc. - problems that can become acute if not managed and supervised. Historically, without regular care, when the problems become acute the patients end up in the hospital's emergency department.
Our patients are working families without medical insurance, Butler County residents with incomes no greater than 200% of poverty level. We will not duplicate services; if a patient qualifies for other programs, we will manage the referral.
The clinic provides free outpatient primary medical care, preventive medical services, referrals for specialized services, referrals to other agencies when appropriate, and free medications when possible. The dental operatories are now fully equipped and dental services will be provided when operating funds become available in 2009.
We do not provide emergency room type services. We have no narcotics on site, nor do we prescribe narcotics.
Our goal is to provide the primary healthcare services needed to keep our patients healthy, so they can continue to work, care for their families and be productive members of the community.
