Volunteers

Our Volunteers are very important to the Community Health Clinic.

Our staff is assisted by many volunteers, both healthcare professionals (physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses) and community volunteers with a variety of important skills.

Some community volunteers greet patients when they enter and guide them through the process;   some provide educational counseling,   follow-up phone calls to patients,   office assistance and data entry.   An important - and time consuming- task is filling out the applications for low-cost medications from the various pharmaceutical companies.

Quarterly orientation training sessions are scheduled for our new volunteers. Refresher sessions are also given periodically.   You can sign up to volunteer at any time.

If you are interested in volunteering, click here to do so online or download our volunteer application and return it to the clinic.

THE COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINIC HAS HAD MORE THAN 3600 MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS SINCE OPENING IT'S DOORS IN JANUARY OF 2008

THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITH OUT THE DEDICATION OF OUR VOLUNTEERS
